Staffordshire University Academy has excellent facilities to enhance the learning experience of all students and have access to the huge resources and support of sponsor Staffordshire University.
A spokesman said: “We aspire to ensure the very best for every student. An extensive range of clubs, support activities and interventions are also in place to ensure success for all learners.
“We believe every student has a talent. As a team, our vision is for every learner to achieve their best.
Our key to improvement is sustainable success and having a dedicated team of staff supporting our learners.
“Ofsted recently commented upon our ‘positive and ambitious culture’, staff’s ‘well-formed expectations’ of students and the ‘positive relationships’ observed.
“SUA is an exciting place to be. We work closely with a number of partners to expand the breadth of our provision to students, this includes working with a number of other Staffordshire schools and undertaking a huge range of exciting projects.
“For example, working with White Water Writers, Year 9 and 10 students have published a book; Birmingham Repertory Theatre facilitate an arts project with all Year 7 and 8 students in the autumn term and trips, such as to Paris, are heavily subscribed.
Recently, 300 Year 5s from local primary schools attended an action packed activity day.
We host an annual careers fair, alongside our students attending careers, science and enterprise events at external venues throughout the year.
“We hope as many parents and families as possible come and see what we have to offer at our rapidly improving academy.
If you would like to find out more, please feel free to come and visit us during a normal working day or on one of our open mornings from Monday, October 8 - Thursday, October 11, from 9-11am.
You will see why we are all so determined to help our students be the best they can be.”
