“Crestwood School and Sixth Form exists to provide an unrivalled learning environment for the young people in our local and wider community.
“Through our teaching and pastoral care, we aim to develop independent young people with a thirst for learning.
“We encourage students to strive to make more progress than is expected of them.
“Our students know, if they do so, they will achieve more success than is expected of them.”
Headteacher Caroline Sutton said: “Our vision drives everything we do, we know that by demonstrating our school values consistently we will arrive at our goal of becoming a truly outstanding school.
“During February’s visit by Ofsted our belief that we are well on our way to achieving our vision was confirmed when we were judged as a ‘Good’ School with Outstanding features.
This judgement came thanks to a culmination of collaborative efforts from all school stakeholders: Students, teaching staff, support staff, leadership, governors, our community and lastly, and by no means least!
“Our parents, the relationship between the school and parents is stronger than ever, we have recently been awarded the ‘Leading Parent Partnership Award’ which verifies that we listen and act when our parents speak.”
Here are some of the reasons parents chose Crestwood School and Sixth Form:
“I chose this school for my son because of the attitude shown from everyone involved with the school; I was greatly impressed by the staff and pupils at the open evening.”
“Crestwood was the best school we saw over the course of the open days.”
“My daughter liked this school very much, she felt really comfortable when we walked around. She was even asking questions which is unusual for her as she is a really shy girl.
We were really impressed on how many opportunities this school has to offer.”
